After nearly a decade as a reporter and social media manager for daily newspapers – most recently at the Chicago Sun-Times – I now am freelancing full-time on the religion beat and excited to attend my first RNA Conference. I am a regular contributor to RELEVANT Magazine, where I started covering current events and controversies four years ago. I also have written for the Washington Post's Acts of Faith, the Boston Globe's Crux, Christianity Today's Her.meneutics, Christ and Pop Culture and other publications, covering topics ranging from gentrification and diversity in the church to trolling and the #CharlieCharlieChallenge.
